EXPERT SESSION ON DATA ANALYTICS

An enlightening expert session on “Data Analytics & Industry Trends” was successfully conducted at Swami Vivekanand College of Engineering on 27th June 2025, from 1:20 PM to 3:50 PM, at the Pharmacy Auditorium. The session was led by Mr. Arpit KhandelwalSolution Architect at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), who brought along a wealth of knowledge backed by 18 years of industry experience.

The event was a valuable opportunity for students across multiple departments to gain insights into the world of Data Analytics, one of the most in-demand domains in today’s tech-driven industry.

·  Introduction to Data Analytics – Concepts, types, and real-world applications.

·  Tools & Technologies – A brief overview of popular tools such as Python, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL was provided.

·  Career Guidance – Emphasis on upskilling, certifications, and the importance of project-based learning in analytics.


Experience Sharing:

Mr. Khandelwal also took time to share his personal career journey and how the domain of Data Analytics has evolved over the years. His journey from a software engineer to a solution architect inspired many attendees to think critically about their career paths.


Interactive Q&A Session:

The session concluded with an engaging Q & A segment where students asked thoughtful questions about industry roles, project ideas, and learning resources. Mr. Khandelwal responded with practical advice and encouraged students to stay curious and explore beyond the curriculum.
