Mr. Pradeep Baniya


He is perusing PhD in Computer Engineering from Institute of Engineering & Technology, DAVV, Indore. He has completed his graduation(B.E.) from Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.). He has completed his post-graduation (M.E.) in Computer Engineering from Institute of Engineering & Technology, DAVV, Indore.  He has done various IBM profession certifications on IBM DB2, Tivoli storage manager, WebSphere Application development (WSAD) and Rational unified process.  He has published various research papers in UGC approved journals. Under his supervision more than eight students have completed M.Tech. (CSE). He has taken visiting lectures more than four years in IET, DAVV in M.E. computer Engineering. He has teaching experience more than fourteen years. He has research interest in Cloud Computing, Computer vision; Machine learning and Big Data Analytics.


Department Profile

Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in the year 2004, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science Engineering. Department is headed by Mr. Vijay Birchha. Department has state of the art laboratories to gain good knowledge in the field of Computer Technology, Computer Network, Cloud Computing, Soft Computing, Database Management, Information Security and many more.

Undergraduate B. Tech

Started with 60 seats in 2004 with affiliation to RGPV, Bhopal, Intake increased to 90 seats in 2007, Intake increased to 120 in 2011. In Present time B. Tech has 120 Seats.

Postgraduate M. Tech

Started with 18 seats in 2012 with affiliation to RGPV, Bhopal. In Present M. Tech CSE has 18 Seats.

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of department
  • To provide the imperatives knowledge of science and engineering concepts fundamental for a computer professional and equip the proficiency of mathematical foundations and algorithmic principles for competent problem solving ability.
  • To inculcate ability in creativity & design of computer support systems and impart knowledge and skills for analyze, design, test and implement various software applications.
  • To exhibit leadership capability, triggering social and economic commitment and inculcate community services and protect environment.
  • To train students with good scientific and engineering logics to comprehend, analyze, design and create novel products as well as solutions for the real time problems.

  • Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
