HOD-Civil Engineering Department

Prof. Parikshit Joshi
 

He is pursuing PhD in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources Management from Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. He has completed his graduation (B.E. Civil Engg.) from SGSITS Indore. He has completed his post-graduation (M.E.) in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources Engineering from SGSITS Indore. He has done Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from New Zealand. He has taken visiting lectures in IET, DAVV in Civil Engineering. He has total professional experience of eleven years, out of which two in construction and nine years in teaching industry. His manuscript entitled “Wheat Crop Acreage Estimation of Mhow Tehsil Using Remote Sensing and GIS Techniques” has been published in October 2014 edition of Indian Water Resources Society (IWRS) Journal. His pilot research study of “Rain Water Drinking” has been published in Dainik Bhaskar newspaper dated 11.9.2017 and 3.9.19. He has keen interest in water and waste water engineering. He is Life member of Indian Water Works Association.

 

Civil Engineering Department

Department of Civil Engineering in SVCE was established in 2011 keeping the aim to produce efficient Engineers so as to cater to the need of society. Department is being headed by Mr. Niraj Soni having the staff strength of 11 & is committed to produce Industry ready engineers through use of latest teaching aids & learning tools.

Students of BE final year participated in National level conference & displayed their research skill in the field of Material testing, Earth quake, Modeling. Department has keen interest to focus on the latest technologies used in planning, designing & Execution of Civil Engineering Works.
