Mrs. Megha Soni

She has over 12 years of experience of teaching. She is associated with SVCE from last 10 years, and pursing Ph.D from IET, DAVV Indore, her five research papers have been published in reputed conference proceedings.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
  1. Fostering Global technical competencies among students through world class teaching and learning aids & course contents and producing the “the world maker” students.
  2. To provide students with a strong foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems and to prepare them for post-graduate studies, R&D, consultancy and higher learning.
  3. Promoting the application of communication and technology as far as possible in every walk of life for helping the cause of student becoming global citizen of the modern world.
  4. Thrust on academic excellence – Department always aims to get overall pass percentage of 85% and at least 25% students to get distinction (>75% marks).
  5. Generating the opportunity of gainful employment through placement drive organized by the placement cell and Students’ Information Bureau- Department always aims to attain the figure of 70% student placement.
  6. Apart from placement, entrepreneurship qualities are also kept in view to be developed. Our country badly needs the citizens who can produce the employment opportunities for their fellow countrymen.
  7. Encouraging the students to be engrossed in research activities. Department has the view to produce the students who can engineer the world by new innovations and not just only follow the path shown by their forerunners. Motivate and facilitate the students to make their own new electronic projects, modals, gadgets etc. from the beginner level to the very higher level.
  8. Teaching leadership qualities, self initiation skills, discipline, moral values and profession ethics to make the students a complete personality, so that they can come with flying colors in the profession they choose after completion of the programme.
  9. Course students are focused to be trained in the upcoming and latest technologies in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering like modern VLSI design techniques, latest microcontrollers such as Aurdino etc. and embedded system technologies, modern communication techniques like mobile communication, wireless communication, satellite communication, fiber optical communication, RADAR engineering etc.

Electronic & Communication Department

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2004. Department is headed by Mrs. Megha Soni, Department has 14 faculty members. Department has state-of-the-art laboratories to gain good knowledge in the field of Electronics, Communication, Microwave, VLSI, DSP & Image processing, Networking Microprocessor and Microcontroller.
